St . Pete Green Devil Girls Lacrosse
July 2018: The Pinellas County School district is considering applying to the Florida High School Athletic Association (FHSAA) for the sanctioning lacrosse in the county public high schools. Varsity lacrosse would commence for the Spring 2019 season.
The non-profit Pinellas Lacrosse Alliance (PLA) is a support organization leading the efforts to necessary fundraising and related activities. https://pc4lax.org/
Not all schools will have varsity lacrosse at first, but St. Petersburg High School has one of the strongest bases of lacrosse in the county and plans are that it will have one of the first teams (boys and girls).
As more information becomes certain, this page will be updated.

Our Team VisionLike a wolf pack in the wild, we are a team with a culture built on chemistry.
With a tenacious attitude and effort, we become a highly competitive team with a great sense of family, sportsmanship, and pride. Never outworked, never outplayed, and never outhustled. Our play on the field is a reflection of our dedication and commitment to achieve our goals. |
The Lacrosse SeasonThe main lacrosse season is from January to April. Our team practices during the week. We usually have about 13 to 16 home and away games during weekday evenings with some Saturday games.
We play teams in the local Tampa Bay area. Travel is generally no more than 45-50 minutes within the greater Tampa Bay area (Pinellas and nearby counties). In April we usually participate in an exciting multi-day lacrosse tournament in Birmingham Alabama. We compete against girls team from several states. |
